Testimony: Prohibition of Meetings Outside the New Acropolis (NA City_X)
The testimony reveals how the New Acropolis controls even the informal communication of students among themselves: any discussion of topics related to the teachings outside the organization's walls is treated as "heresy".
Testimony №7 — Meeting at a café and accusation of heresy
The students wanted to talk about the beliefs of the peoples of Oceania and other topics. But because inside the New Acropolis there is always the prism of their teachings — for example, the sevenfold structure of a person, the student’s path, and so on — they decided to do it outside. They met at a café, everything was fine.
And then one of the particularly devoted students of the New Acropolis said that he would no longer come, because it was wrong to meet outside. He insisted that all such events should be held inside, because these students supposedly teach heresy (although they were discussing ordinary things, not those they had been taught in the New Acropolis).
Thus, even self-organized intellectual interaction among students — without the ideological prism of the organization — is perceived as apostasy.
