Testimony of student_2: manipulations and hidden ideology (IN City_X)
The testimonies concern student_2, who studied at the New Acropolis branch in City_X and for some time was a candidate for the Living Forces — the organization's internal activist circle. The testimonies reveal manipulative practices and the organization's hidden ideological mechanisms.
Testimony No. 9 — Manipulative manuals for teachers
Teacher manuals contain prescribed ideas that must be conveyed first and foremost during lectures. For example, on the topic of Buddhism it is important not to talk about Buddhism and how it can be useful in general, but to convey that suffering is necessary for spiritual growth, especially within the community.
The manual was read by student_2. He did not make copies of it.

Testimony No. 14 — Fabricated "spiritual" work
Student_2 was asked to take shifts, but it turned out there was no real need. In fact this was done so that the student would "grow spiritually", learn to leave his secular affairs and serve a higher purpose, and be able to manage his time.
At internal meetings of the Living Forces they discussed what to offer students so that they would be actively involved. Student_2 at that time was a candidate for the Living Forces and was present at such a meeting. He expressed the opinion that people do not like to do things that really have no meaning, and that it is not worth inventing work for the sake of work.
They did not agree with him. The reason is simple: the main idea is "active involvement" and "spiritual growth"; it is not so important what exactly to do — the main thing is that there is work.

Testimony No. 16 — Coercion to read a book from the internal club
There was a heated argument about which book student_3 should read: he was strongly told that he must read what the acropolitans read for the internal book club, and that his own book must be set aside.
